John Lenzini, co-founder and head brewer of Schilling Beer, always had homebrewing ambitions. Living in Austria and Germany bolstered his love of craft. But, after a trip to Belgium and the Czech Republic, he knew exactly what he wanted to brew. Moving to Littleton, a tiny town in New Hampshire, Lenzini and friend Jeffrey Cozens opened Schilling. Now, the unassuming, dreamy, East Coast town boasts one of the best European-inspired breweries in the country. Their traditional Lagers are particularly celebrated, with the folks at Hop Culture going so far as to call them “flawless.”
