About This Beer
For Paulus, the brewers started by crafting a malt-forward base using a combination of Pilsner and Vienna malts. Then they balanced it out with a selection of Noble Hops and a touch of German Tettnang.
Tasting Notes
Hints of honey sweetness compliment the biscuity baguette notes coursing through the cracker-crisp sip. A kiss of floral jasmine on the back end adds sublime depth, making each swig even better than the last.

Nice Heller lager! No unpleasant, acrid or bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Something’s not right with this – I’m not sure if it’s a bad can, if it happened in shipping, or if it’s intentional, but there are some odd flavors going on here. Is it skunked? What’s that peppery quality? Those vaguely allium notes? It just seems… off.
