Some people think peanut butter and chocolate don’t mix. But, they’re wrong.
If they got a sip of this ooey-gooey Peanut Butter Hazelnut Caramel Chocolate Cake Stout, they’d know just how much they’ve been missing out.
This drippy 8% ABV sipper is like a gourmet chocolate cake, layered with creamy, homemade peanut butter and hazelnut spread, and drizzled all over with warmed caramel. Undertones of coffee and vanilla amp up each sip to delicious sensory overload.
With all its creamy, nutty opulence, it figures the 5x GABF award-winners at Hoppin’ Frog initially brewed this dark treat for National Peanut Butter Day. That was in January, and now they’ve brought it back due to popular demand.
That, and the fact we could all use an extra slice of chocolate-drizzled heaven right about now!
If your favorite barista whipped up a gourmet ice cream sundae, it’d probably taste a lot like Abuse of Stout: Coffee.
This stuff has all the makings of a killer dessert, but in beer form. The brewers at Destination Unknown load it with gobs of luscious honey and creamy vanilla, and massive additions of cocoa nibs really amp up the chocolate flavor of the malty base! Then they add rich, freshly roasted coffee from their neighbors at Chai and Coffee Co.
With a fridge full of Abuse of Stout: Coffee, you can absolutely keep yourself drenched in fudgy, coffee-ice cream flavors to your heart’s content. And, if you happen to find yourself settling down with a couple scoops of vanilla on a lazy afternoon, drizzle a little of this decadent brew over the top for a 12% ABV kick!
If you’re a chocolate lover, you gotta agree — it’s not really a camping trip without s’mores.
There’s something so satisfying about a perfectly toasted marshmallow and a slightly melted square of Hershey’s chocolate, sandwiched between two graham crackers. Each gooey bite oozes out of the sides and sticks to your cheeks and fingertips, but somehow, you don’t mind.
The craft confectioners at Hubbard’s Cave have taken it a step further to bring you Peanut Butter S’mores! That’s right, imagine all of that ooey-gooey deliciousness, schmeared with creamy peanut butter on top!
The brewers crafted this decadent Imperial Stout with marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, and, as the brewers put it, a “f#*% ton of peanut butter.” Each luxuriant sip is like biting into a delectable campfire treat, but the usual chocolate is replaced with a peanut butter cup!
The lucky few who’ve tried it are begging for more s’mores, raving:
