About This Brewery
StormBreaker Brewing takes their name from a little known nickname for Mt. Hood, the 11,000-foot volcano that dominates Portland, Oregon’s eastern horizon. And the brewers say they brew their beer “like Mt. Hood breaks storms coming off the Pacific Ocean — head on and with intensity!” If you want to try a sip of that intensity, reach for a pint of Triple Double Imperial IPA, made with 10 separate hop additions! Or Right as Rain American Pale Ale, made with a heap of Galaxy Hops. If you’re looking for something a little different, their I Am Froot Farmhouse Saison is rustic, refreshing, and oh so fruity from additions of tamarind and Meyer lemon zest. Hype: Piles of medals from the Oregon Beer Awards, U.S. Open Beer Championships, and Best of Craft Beer Awards.
