Boxing Bear Brewing Co
A Note on This Beer
The South Park superfans at Boxing Bear named the latest Hazy Double IPA in their highly decorated 4+ UT-rated arsenal Super Cereal.
It’s a punny way to let people know you’re serious. “Are you cereal? Yeah, I’m super cereal.”
And these award-winning Haze-makers are definitely cereal, er, *serious* about their juicebombs.
The brewery is known for using up to 3x the average amount of Hops per barrel in their IPAs. And this no-skimping mentality led them to dominate the state’s Hop-game, winning the New Mexico IPA Challenge in 2019 for the THIRD TIME!
And this competition is fierce, with over 45 breweries submitting IPAs for blind taste-testing in the hopes of being crowned the “Best in the State.” But Boxing Bear came out on top, earning more votes than juicy finalists from the big dogs at Ex Novo and Bosque Brewing.
Fans of Boxing B’s hopilicious brews are, well, *super cereal* about them, too. Scrolling through comments on Super Cereal’s Untappd page you’ll see praise from the owners of some seriously excited taste buds:
Like @J-Wow who says, “Love this damn beer!”
@Vincente Q. who’s digging the “floral, mango, blueberry, and citrus.”
And a stoked @Aaron Y. who calls it a “tasty hazy, cremeez.”
You can tell someone is seriously enjoying a super smooth IPA when they spell creamy like that — and make it plural even.
If you’re super cereal about only drinking the best of the best IPAs out there, you can’t miss the latest tropical juice splash from Boxing B.
