Heaving Through Corrupted Lungs
Adroit Theory Brewing Company
A Note on This Beer
Fans of Virginia’s Adroit Theory are constantly sending us emails that say things like, “When are you getting more from Adroit?” And, “What the HELL do I have to do to get some FREAKIN’ Adroit beers over here?!”
Look, we’re sorry, okay? We’re doing our best.
But these guys brew in such small batches — and Virginia is home to so many rabid Adroit fans — we just can’t get much of their stuff! Most of their limited-edition beers actually sell out before they’re even canned!
But if you’re one of the legions of crazed Adroit aficionados who have been blowing up our inbox, listen up, because it’s your lucky day.
Introducing Heaving Through Corrupted Lungs IPA.
Charming name, right? That’s just par for the course with Adroit. Aesthetically, their tastes skew towards all things gnarly — just check out the can art!
But beer-wise their tastes are all about juicy, tropically dank IPAs. And for today’s treat, they double dry-hopped with a whopping 6 different hop varieties!
Mosaic adds notes of fresh blueberry and stonefruit. Citra brings notes of ripe orange and grapefruit. From Idaho 7, look for apricot and dank papaya. Nuances of pear and watermelon dance across the palate thanks to El Dorado, and Enigma adds hints of red currant and raspberry. Waimea closes things out with more pithy citrus and resinous pine on the finish.
Grab a sip of this hop nectar, and you might become a crazed Adroit fan yourself. And then you can join all the other hopheads bombarding us with demands for more.
