I would love to get lost in this "Hubbard's Cave."
It was fantastic
Just didn't do it for me
Rich with a slight warmth not as spicy as thought it would be. Definitely a different taste I’m used to for stout.
This is probably my favorite yet on Tavour. Great cinnamon and vanilla with a little spice zing on the back end. It has so much flavor going on, it doesn’t even taste like it should be a beer. I’ll get this again in a heartbeat.
super spicy and delicious
Very well layered. Cinnamon/vanilla nose and taste up front, heat from the peppers on the finish.
Tastes like a Mexican hot cocoa & bittersweet chocolate. I've tried other pepper/spice stouts, but this one was done extremely well - with the heat being more of a pleasant, warm aftermath, than others which are nauseatingly spicy and difficult to drink without heartburn. This is a truly unique flavor combination, and this brewery has found the perfect formula to create a dark beer with heat, which is also refreshing and tolerable on a hot summer day. Mad props to Hubbard's cave - don't ever change your heat formula, it's perfect! 👌🏻
this is risky since I’m allergic to almonds. I taste cinnamon. not much spicy but I overload my palette with spicy so makes sense. chocolate is present
Love this very chili forward
Cinnamon is overdone. Level of the 2 chilis is well done. Cinnamon level improves as the beer warms.
heat is more subtle than I would like
Great taste, was expecting more heat but has a small kick at the end which is perfect
smooth and velvety. great spice in the back of the throat. Yum!
Perfect amount of heat and cinnamon.
it is what it says it is. stout with some pepper heat
Great! As described. It was just slightly thin and the heat was a little too strong. Otherwise, really good.
Sweet with a smooth warming heat throughout that hits all the right spots. The desert counterpoint to a spicy dinner.
I normally do not like stouts but OMG is this one good… I would order again ASAP. Delicious.
love the chili flavor!
heavy cinnamon no chili
