A Note on This Beer

Here it is, folks — your special chance to score a bottle of Anchorage Brewing’s A Deal With The Devil Triple Oaked!
With even fewer bottles in existence than the Double Oaked version, ADWTD Triple Oaked is seriously rare and promises some serious bragging rights.
Gabe Fletcher and his crew went to great lengths to brew this 2021 vintage. Starting with Anchorage’s famous Barleywine, they aged the beer for 8 months in Woodford Reserve Double Oaked barrels. Then, they transferred it into Elijah Craig barrels to rest another 6 months, before moving the brew into Buffalo Trace barrels for a final 8-month stint.
For those of you doing the math, this heavenly behemoth spent nearly two whole years soaking up oaky, bourbon-spiced richness!
Every silky sip greets the taste buds with waves of woody vanilla sweetness and whiskey-soaked figs. Hints of soft, dark cherries tiptoe in before introducing dashes of caramel and nutmeg flavors on the finish. Amid all the luscious swirls of bourbon-kissed dark fruit, you’ll hardly even notice that cheek-warming 17% ABV.
The last ADWTD Triple Oaked release is rated a whopping 4.76 on Untappd!

this beer was absolutely amazing
It's good, and by itself maybe better than this rating but I had it with double oak and that blew this away.
Just the F’ing gold standard in Barleywine
Excellent barleywine! Sweet, syrupy, caramel boozy treat.
Wow. This was the best bw ive had.
This is just unbelievable. Definitely need another bottle.
Super smooth for 17%, even after it warms. No need to age the other bottle I got, couldn’t possibly get any better than it is right now. This is the pinnacle of brewing and blending skill
*heavy breathing* 🤤😍🤩
Best Barleywine ever.
smooth and perfect
Ho Lee Shit Dam Son
wow this was great!! toffee, raisin, caramel, with a slight boozy finish
big booze and caramel like Taste. fantastic.
The best Barleywine hands down!
Truly a fantastic beer, tastes like and imperial banana split!
An squired taste!
My first 5/5. Taste is carmel, brown sugar, whiskey soaked dark fruit, raisin, sweet, boozy. Balanced and complex. Feel is viscous and thick with slight carbonation. This is a top 3 representation of my absolute favorite beer style.
not a barleywine fan but this was phenomenal. thick, chewy, and the burn really subdued the sweetness.
let this age for a bit.
not as good as b2, but still good nonetheless
the king is back
slight bit of boozness, vanilla was more pronounced as it warmed. really good
Wow! A real treat to get to try this. Just the perfect level of boozy tasting.
Still one of the best American barleywine in the world
Wow! Nice boozy warmth to top off the delicious caramel, subdued malt sweetness and bourbon barrel/vanilla mouth. Great stuff. Too bad about the price. But yeah, this is incredible stuff.
this will age well for years, strong barrel
perfect, one of the best beers in the world
you know it’s a home run
never thought i’d ever get to try any of the ADWTD brews but so thankful i have
This is warm barrel aged caramel covered fig. It looks thin, but boy is this thiccccckkk. Vanilla comes through with whiskey soaked dark fruit. It is really complex yet balanced. I cannot believe more flavors keep emerging. This is phenomenally awesome!
oak so much
boozy figgy cigar
definitely worth the hype, fantastic Barrel character
worth the price? absolutely not! best barleywine I've ever had? you better believe it!
very sweet and caramelly. liked Wendigo a whole lot better. Still a solid beer
thank you Tavour
the best beer of all time
wow delicious, barley wine. dense fruity flavor, definitely taste improves as it warms.
Absurd vanilla and caramel waffle cone vibes. Just absurd.
price doesn't = tatste
