About This Beer
The crew at Yonder gave this cider the cocktail treatment with Fast Penny Amaricano amaro, then topped it off with cranberries, cherries, and bitter orange peel.
Tasting Notes
Every sip is a complex blend of fruit, herbs, and spices. The liqueur adds a dusky depth of flavor to the NW apples — one that bright stone fruit and earthy berry nuances effortlessly flow through. A zip of citrus brings out a pithiness that anchors the rich concoction like the aromatic twist that sits atop a negroni.

Pretty tasty. Good hint of cherry. Nice change from most ciders.

As I was drinking it, I kept thinking, "this is so close to being a great wine cocktail," but something is missing. Perhaps, it is too sweet? Or it has a tang, that is reminiscent of stale sangria. But this, now that I think of, might be good in a sangria. I have two cans and am excited to try it again. I might even buy it again. I am sure I like it

Very rich, with strong flavors of cherry and cranberry. Beautiful bitterness from the amaro, complemented by the pithiness of orange peel. Very unique, unlike any cider I’ve had before — or anything I’ve had outside of a cocktail bar.

I was worried as to whether this would be too “winey” but it was excellent! Nice cherry tones with good sour balance.
