About This Beer
To craft this treasure, the Alesong crew started with a tangy base 100% fermented with brettanomyces and aged in French oak barrels. Then they dry hopped the beer with Citra, balancing it all with succulent fruit tones hinted with pine. And after several years of cellaring gracefully, the tartness has mellowed into a delicious dried apricot note.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate the celebrated sip delivering waves of peach, sweet orange, and mango on top of a mild, haylike funk. Zesty flourishes of grapefruit and fresh garden herbs suggest the flavors of an IPA but with the complexity of an oak aged Saison. A hint of pithy citrus lingers before a dry, snappy finish.
