About This Beer
Usually reserved exclusively for their Brewmaster’s Collective, the Firestone Walker crew crafted this 4.33 UT-rated “Central Coast Quad” with their beloved Stickee Monkee base hinted with Belgian candi sugar. Then they poured it into WhistlePig rye whiskey barrels the same day the casks were emptied — which is virtually unheard of! After aging in those remarkably wet barrels, the brew was conditioned on whiskey barrel-aged maple syrup from WhistlePig Farm in Vermont.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate treacly maple and oaky vanilla aromas to perfume the air with every pour. The complex quaff should follow, with nuances of dried dark fruit from the base swirling with hints of brown sugar, bourbon caramel, and delicate rye spice. Look for a final kiss of spirit-soaked maple on the finish.
