A Note on This Beer
Food & Wine Magazine says the brewers at Foreign Objects “provide a valuable lesson to the craft beer world.”
What does this mean, exactly? The best way to find out is to sip a masterful brew, like Fascination Street IPA!
Lesson 1: Hop Selection
Right away, this beer shows the value of an superb hop combo. The brewers — who honed their skills at Washington’s acclaimed Urban Family, by the way — carefully chose a juicy combo of Citra and Vic Secret Hops. Aromas of freshly peeled oranges greet the nose upfront, leading to lush, bursting grapefruit and succulent white grapes on the palate!
Lesson 2: Mouthfeel
The Foreign Objects team also placed great attention to the mouthfeel. Filled with flaked wheat and oats, this is a fluffy-smooth sipper that delectably cushions the hop bitterness on the finish.
Lesson 3: The Name!
Great name choice is the final lesson Foreign Objects offers. Just like The Cure song ‘Fascination Street’, this brew ebbs and flows with moments of high intensity and soothing calm. It’s a delectable sensory experience wrapped in a gently buzzing 7.5% ABV, and the end seems to come far too soon.
But, only those who are quick enough will snag a taste. Foreign Objects doesn’t have its own store or taproom (yet)!
