About This Beer
The World Beer Cup-winning Oregon team started by crafting a Belgian-style Quadrupel using a quartet of specialty malts, a pair of noble hops, dark candi sugar, and raisins. They fermented it with Belgian Ale yeast for hints of spice, before maturing it in French oak cognac barrels.
Tasting Notes
It pours rich and complex, giving you plenty to explore while you cozy up by the fire or indulge in some wintery bakes. Smooth notes of caramel, toffee, and fortified wine waltz over your palate, swirling into robust plum, cherry, and cocoa nuances. Meanwhile, a touch of oaky dryness keeps this warming Quad impeccably balanced.

Dark brown pour, thin beige head. Big, sweet aroma, prunes, fermented grapes. Taste is mellow, barrel notes, the cognac really smoothing out the quad. Warming, and a real pleasure to drink.
