The GLINTCAP multi-medalists at Ash & Elm made this crisp winter sipper by aging their local apple base in fresh rum barrels with plump raisins. After nine months, it came out infused with boozy barrel nuances and rich dark fruit flavors. Then they finished the blend with a dash of brown sugar to enhance its natural sweetness.
Aromas of caramelized apples give the golden pour the comforting, layered fragrance of a classic French tarte Tatin. Luscious juice comes through in each light-bodied quaff. And it’s all accented by oaky vanilla and tropical liquor, making this Cider a craveable seasonal sensation.
