Nice cinnamon taste but aftertaste a little off
The high ABV is hidden well with the vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar. Like the favor a lot - this is definitely a sipper.
I think the cinnamon is too powerful. Like they poured a half shot of fireball in a good stout
Better than the real thing
As usual with Prairie Artisan their execution again is near flawless. The only company that does flavored stouts consistently perfect, this one is again a must have.
Great flavor. Sticky. These types of stouts aren’t my favorite but that doesn’t mean I don’t like them. If you like a warm dense sweet boozy stout. It’s great.
Nice horchata flavor, not overwhelmingly.
Amazing. Prairie can do no wrong. The cinnamon horchata flavor is spot-on, and add a boozy kick
Smells like a churro, tastes even better. Very smooth
This is one of the smoothest stouts of Nyah’s ever had. You can taste the vanilla, cinnamon and sugar - which makes it an excellent dessert. No bitter aftertaste.
Cinnamon, pepper, with a touch of black cherry at the end.
Very good flavor, but way too rich and heavy for me.
Worth drinking!....good cinnamon flavor
Loved the cinnamon flavor, this is a one beer and done tho, little too intense for me
Wow. Beautiful rich cinnamon-y amalgamation of amazingness. Wish I had picked up more than one.
Smooth, strong, horchata taste as promised!
I thought the Blue Moon Horchata was the best Horchata beer until this one. It has the perfect balance of cinnamon and vanilla. While my boyfriend found the cinnamon overpowering I found that it tastes exactly like horchata with just a little bite of beer.
Not a substitute for the real deal but I see what they were going for. If you top off your stout with froth of horchata, you’re gonna be close to this brew. The high ABV packs a punch.
Smooth and silky. Amaretto aroma. Cinnamon everywhere. I definitely gotta horchata more.
This is one of my boyfriends favorite beers ever
Overall good flavor that matches horchata. Seemed to have a bit of bitterness that I didn't expect which lowered the rating a bit. Feel if you are a fan of stouts and this flavor, you will at least enjoy a pour.
Prairie never disappoints
The most accurate horchata flavored beer there is
One of my favorite beers of all time. I’m disappointed that I didn’t buy more than one bottle. The cinnamon was appropriate and balanced with the beer
Great nose and flavor - cinnamon, balanced vanilla sweetness. Not super thick but enough...
Nice cinnamon, but a bit intense
Not my thang
Cinnamon and vanilla. Liquid joy in a glass.
Creamy, not enough cinnamon
Good base stout. Cinnamon hits you right in the face.
Too much cinnamon
Smooth for the alcohol content. Lots of cinnamon.
Cinnamon is certainly present in this lovely smooth stout. Vanilla lends a light sweetness to the end of the sip.
Nice aroma but the flavors are disparate, competing, and don't add up. Disappointing given Prairie's track record.
Best horchata stout I've had to date. The sweet, dessert smell is incredible! Perfect cinnamon profile and boozy kick.
Really really good. Lots of cinnamon flavor. I would have never guessed the high abv!
Prairie is the king of adjunct imperial stouts. This is the first imperial milk Stout I have LOVED. The lactose adds a light sweetness and creaminess. The cinnamon and vanilla balance to taste like an auntie Ann's cinnamon pretzel with icing, and it finishes with that gorgeous roasty, semi sweet Prairie stout base. I was skeptical going in, but shame on me for doubting Prairie.
As advertised, that being said, good no great. Meh. They make lots more that I’d rather have.
Alot of cinnamon, but expected.
Unique and tasty. Really excellent horchata flavors.
I’ve been kind of lukewarm in Prairie as of late. I feel like their adjuncts are just silly for the sake of being silly. However, this one is very good. Good spice to it, without coming off as artificial. Just a bit of alcohol warmth. Thick as usual. I’d buy another for a cold night.
