On my first sip, I admit I was a bit disappointed - there was a strange taste hiding with the blackberries. I read the description again and have totally changed my mind. That strange taste was absolutely almond with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. This beer is exactly as described and a fun after dinner beer!
Was a little disappointed with this one - didn’t have a full fruity flavor that I look for and wasn’t as sour but overall still delightful.
Very smooth sour. I think the vanilla and almond help round the flavor. Not super fruity but good flavor
Wasn’t bad, wasn’t amazing. I was hoping for more
Nothing special to be honest. Sounded better than it tasted, only got notes of blackberry and maybe a bit of Graham crackers
Pinkish haze, tangy berry sniffs, tart, Blackberries, subtle nutty Almonds, bready Graham, spicy Cinnamon, & vague Vanilla.
Graham cracker forward brew, with a subtle berry tartness. Could use more fruit, and sweetness.
So I taste the graham cracker and vanilla. And I just think because I’m a new beer drinker. The sour is not my jam. But I’m still hunting. So good first pick for me
Tart blackberry right upfront, but not overly sour. Graham cracker and vanilla come out at the finish.
Really unremarkable. Wasn't sour enough, not enough flavor, and kind of had a metallic aftertaste.
Ordered from Tavour. Chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass. Look: pinkish brown, cloudy, two finger pinkish creamy head that dissipated quickly, leaving a small ring of creamy foam around the glass that hung around while it warmed. Smell: berry, sour, malt, no booze and no hop notes Taste: berry up front, followed by sour, followed my malty notes of graham cracker and super light vanilla. No booze, no hop and no bitterness Feel: medium to light feel with heavy tickle of carbonation, sour on the back tongue, with a crips finish. Interesting beer. Berry Berliner weisse type of beer. If you reach it is a sour blackberry pie. The berry is the biggest player with supporting and trailing notes of graham cracker that hides itself as malt. You have to reach for the graham and the vanilla’s presence is pretty small, but there if you really reach. The lactose you would expect to add to the mouthfeel, but not as much with this one. Still, this is a lightly carbonated fruited sour that is crips and flavorful. Cheers everyone!
Nice sour overall, but lacking in the adjuncts department. Didn’t get much of anything of graham cracker, vanilla or almonds. Mostly blackberry in this one.
Good blackberry flavor, but I didn’t really taste the other flavors. Still a solid sour.
The tartness really over powers any of the flavors, but still a great sour none the less.
Great combination of flavors.
Not as sour but still easy to drink
Tastes a bit like blackberry pie with graham cracker and light cinnamon. Lightly tart.
Tart and bland
Wa sable to pick out all the notes mentioned in the description. I was surprised how well they all worked together. The graham cracker was a nice surprise to the flavor profile. Wasn’t too sour which was nice. Would definitely get again.
Sour, not much to it.
I was really excited for the Graham cracker taste, but I didn't catch any of those notes. It just tasted tart to me.
Just barely okay.
I liked this sour. Not overpowering, would drink again.
Taste like a regular, solid sour. No specific flavor jumps out at me.
Sour without the punch in the mouth. Delicious.
Mellow sour, tasty but not remarkable
The only flavor I get is sour
If your not expecting a strong sour and lean into the flavors described it is a great drink.
No flavor just sour wouldn’t purchase again .
Just sour, I didn't get any vanilla, cinnamon, almond or Graham cracker notes
Strong berry. Good Berliner.
Lots of berry, pretty tart
Very unusual taste, stale graham crackers with sour black berries
Sour, smooth, very nutty and tastes highly of blackberry. Definitely recommend.
The graham cracker does great in cutting the tartness. Solid sour from someone that’s not typically a fan
Too much sour but nice balance with the cinnamon crust flavor.
Tasty and nice color!
Balanced blueberry & blackberry flavors...tart...getting a little of the lactose & almond. A solid beer!
Tasty but could be tastier.
Basically drinkable but it fails to deliver what it promises. Basically a mild fruit juice with a touch of booze
Surprisingly, all of the flavors come through. If you like the description, you’ll love the beer.
All the flavors come through perfectly
Nice aroma. The fruitiness mingles well with the vanilla and cinnamon. I wish there was more of the actual fruit in this, but the aftertaste of it with the lactose lends a very enjoyable finish. It’s definitely reminiscent of fruity cereal milk.
I’m here for the points
Not bad, but I wish it was much fruitier.
Mildly fruity mildly sour
All the flavors come through. Nice graham cracker.
For my palate, swap out the lactose for more ethanol or drink 2x to make my worries vanish
This was just ok. Nothing special
Sour, thicker, juicy and a touch of cream
Everything but the blackberry is indistinguishable. That being said, I still really enjoyed it. Not overly tart. Not overly sweet. Quite tasty.
I would love this if more of the sour shone through (the fruitiness and vanilla and cinnamon are great!) but it tastes mostly like wheat. Smells very cinn
Very good fast and very refreshing. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to others
Pretty spot on
Not enough pop for my palate, but still nice
Sour, juicy, and super thick. Took me a minute to zero down the flavors but I have my girlfriend a sip who screamed “berry yogurt with graham crackers” and yeah… that pretty much encapsulates it.
This was yummy. I couldn't taste the graham cracker. It was a typical sour, nothing really that made.it stand out from others I've tried.
Not bad, not great. Flavor there, but missing something.
