About This Beer
The brewers at The Rare Barrel, (now part of Cellarmaker) crafted this tangy sip by blending 9, 12, and 14 month old oak-aged Sour Ales. Then they conditioned the beer on a whopping 3500lbs of hand processed Hami, Charentais, and Galia melons for an additional 10 months.
Tasting Notes
That trio of exotic fruits imbued the brew with notes of asian pear and wildflower honey that accentuate a backbone of tangy lemon zest. Hints of subtle funk combine with subdued oaky tones, adding depth and complexity to each multi-faceted sip.
