About This Beer
The folks at Shacksbury took their Cider base and aged it in white oak that previously housed high-class Whistlepig Rye barrels. The resulting 4.8% ABV highball-in-a-can goes great with a lemon spritz, on the rocks, or straight up!
Tasting Notes
A light sweetness and crisp body from fresh pressed apples starts the taste, and a dry, oaky character from the barrel kicks it up a notch. Subtle char and spicy flavors round out the quaff like an elegant wash of WhistlePig swirled in a Glencairn glass.

Decent cider, not much whiskey character.

Very dry, a little bitter. Not quite as sparkling as I’d hope, but that whisky-bourbon taste is pretty subtlely rad.
