Very plain. Not horrible but taste nothing as described.
I figured it to be a bit richer but it was simply alright.
Aroma is fine. It actually drinks very well for the ABV. Not too heavy. Flavor is fine. You get just the tiniest flavor of macadamia, but on the whole, many of the stated flavors are missing. It’s not a bad beer. It’s just a bit above average.
Nice and smooth. Nothing was overwhelming. Would have liked to taste more of the macadamia nut. But overall a decent stout.
Great body, depth, but not enough nuances from the add-ins. Macadamia finish.
Good dark stout. No flavors really stand out. I don’t taste macadamia/hazelnuts, don’t taste maple syrup, etc. it’s good, but not great.
It was a solid stout- I agree with others - it got better as it warmed up! I expected more based on the description.
Good dark chocolate stout, wish I could taste more of the listed flavors
The macadamias don’t hit well here.
Well balanced and supported. Maple is scary, but work really well and finishes light on the end. Macadamias nut is subtle. Nice breakfast stout.
It wasn’t really anything special, just a regular stout.
Initially tried it cold, but opted to let it warm a just bit to bring the flavors out, and while it was smooth and generally quite good, I don't feel I got any of the nuttiness or vanilla. Alas.
Good not a sweet pastry stout it’s solid as a good dark flavorful creamy stout
Nice nutty and chocolate taste.
Nutty coffee deliciousness
What can I say, I love dark beer. This was a very good pastry stout! Description says it all.
Great stout and not over-the-top sweet
Maple is a bit overpowering, but the vanilla comes through and it’s an overall smooth beer. I was expecting it to be much sweeter, but it was surprisingly light and a good medium/mellow sweetness.
Tasted like a standard stout to me, nothing special
Loved this. It's on the goto list!
I like this one as it warm up. I am struggling to pick up all of the listed flavor notes
It was solid. Not as much a pastry stout as a sweet adjunct stout. Still liked it.
Tastes like a solid stout, but not a pastry stout.
Thick, creamy, rich pastry stout. Very nutty, with some chocolate and vanilla notes.
I’m getting a lot of nutty bitterness. That’s about all.
A good stout
Pretty standard stout for a mile long description. No vanilla, no maple syrup, no explicit macadamia/hazelnut. Very roasty, slight nuttiness, bitter dark chocolate finish. It's ok
Not bad, but a pretty standard stout. Didn’t pick up any of the listed flavors. Lots of roasted nuttiness and dark chocolate.
Very smooth and drinkable. Great overall flavor, just wish I could pick out more of the adjuncts.
I really wanted to like this but something is off. has a weird chalky mouthfeel.
I thought the flavors were well balanced, not to overpowering.
This one was pretty average, was expecting more standout flavor. Wanted more nuts or maple syrup.
A delicious stout, to be sure. Would probably order again although the pastry aspect didn’t really come through for me.
Didn't get much of the maple syrup. Plenty of chocolate, coffee, and nuts
Not much maple but well balanced. Nice roasted malt and mild coffee flavor. Lighter mouth feel than I was expecting, hides the 8%well.
Pretty damn good. A little rich on the maple flavor. Would've been cut nicely with cinnamon or a barrel aging, but that's just my opinion. Either way, not far off the mark here. A rich, full flavored, well made stout is what you get.
Maple nose with a great nutty taste upfront with chocolate on the back
A lovely, well rounded stout with a bevy of flavors working hand in hand. Chocolatey and nutty but not too sweet by any means. Nice bitter coffee notes on the finish that balance out that sweetness. Not too heavy. 1.75 Thumbs up!
Almost a 4. It’s a good nutty stout with syrup notes - don’t get much vanilla though.
Definitely rich and syrupy, honestly didn’t get much of the nuttiness :/
