VIP access indeed. This 2016 ages well.
Very nice poor and interesting packaged.
A little thin but tasty.
Barrel did not treat it well. Lost a lot of flavor. Tasted watery to me
Never made a bad beer
Smooth, lots of vanilla, some chocolate and bourbon flavors
Masterfully crafted. Amazing smooth mouthfeel with a moderate body. Great subtle barrel character that integrates well
Unappealingly thin - body and flavor.
Age it another 16 years. Fuck it
Absolutely delicious. No one flavor was overpowering, but every note worked together perfectly.
The barrel aging added the right amount of flavoring for this moderate abc oatmeal stout.
This must have been infected or something. Such a disappointment. Thin and bland with no barrel or any good flavors to even note. I truly don't understand how this is getting 4s let alone 5s.... I shared this with a group of 5 people and the highest it got was a 3.0.
Smooth, Smooth, Smooooth! After having been on an emotional real estate dollar coaster this one definitely helped calm the nerves!!! Cheers!
Simply delicious. Also the most hilarious name
It's a top tier beer worth drinking, but body's unfortunately a little thin. Was going to cellar and age more, but just drinking it instead. I do miss the days of more reasonable ABVs on stouts though.
the gift that keeps on giving. this was so good.
One of my favorite beers!
its perfection!!! so smooth and delicious!!! love that taste of bourbon without it overwhelming.
Very very smooth and not overpowering by trying to be too robust. A really delicate balance done well and I can understand reviews that say it is "thin", but I believe that is a comparative description when viewed against what we've been led to believe stouts should taste. I think this beer has found the perfect sweet spot.
Lots of complexity, smooth stout. Opens up nicely as it warms with great balance, chocolate and bourbon. Just a little thin.
Was excited for this one but the barrel aging wasn’t mellowed it was completely gone. Just an oatmeal stout.
Very good. if I’m being a little critical I think it’s a bit on the thin side.
