About This Beer
To make it, the brewers joined forces with the friends at Edmund’s Oast. They started by boiling a barley base for 6 hours along with a generous helping of whole cone Chinook and Citra Hops. Then they aged it in steel for a month, blended in a small portion of a separate bourbon barrel aged barleywine, and bottled it up for the #BiL faithful.
Tasting Notes
Take a sip, and you’ll taste bold flavors of vanilla and caramel drizzled over notes of plum, date, and pear. Hoppy nuances of grapefruit and pine unfold slowly on the way to a rich finish with lingering hints of honey and dried apricot.
