Vanilla Coffee and Cakes

Smooth. Would be great for brunch
Strong coffee flavor here. Not much vanilla, but has a creamy taste. I can smell the coffee and slight sweetness of the cakes and or vanilla. Can’t differentiate between. A slight sweet but strong coffee flavor. This would be a Sunday morning brunch beer. Kinda bitter at the end of each sip. Good, but the Raspberry French Toast is the one! I like the dark and hazy color. It just got too strong of a coffee flavor half way through. It didn’t taste like beer anymore.
Vanilla up front coffee finish. Nice. Breakfast beer !
For what it was aiming for, it was successfully executed. An imperial stout with maple and vanilla is of course going to be sweet. Oversweet? Maybe a tad. The vanilla was prominent at start with coffee taking over at back end. Really strong coffee vibes at end. Subtle maple throughout. Would have liked a little more maple. Overall, very syrupy and thick.
Sweetened cold brew
Wonderful roasted coffee comes through tempered by maple with finishing notes of vanilla.
Smooth, rich, sweet, balanced . A nice dessert stout, but not awesome. Some nice syrupy favors in the aftertaste.
Coffee and Alcohol.
Very coffee espresso heavy. Nice. Just not my style.
Delicious strong creamy coffee flavor very good in my opinion
Strong coffee flavor. Cake flavor subtly there. Loved it.
Hook it into my veins! A mouthful of pancakes and coffee!
Way too sweet
Noticing a trend with Hubbard's Cave, very novelty, not my jazz
Tasted like the breakfast of champions. I would get this one again.
A great stout, nice coffee flavors
Another of their 12 percenters. None have tasted as good as the first one I had. Not bad though. No off flavors.
Little coffee flavor with an overwhelming bitter aftertaste.
Sweeter than expected. Not a fan of the fake vanilla taste...the base stout would prob be better without added flavor
Too much coffee here
Heavy coffee. Little sweet
Strong imperial stout, notes of bourbon
I always love Hubbard’s. They are on point with sweet heavy flavors of great barrel aged beers!
Maple-y and coffee-y with some pancake flavor. Perfect when the chill is just off.
Very good but extremely thick
Very robust espresso flavor with a hint of hops
Too sweet without enough complexity to balance it out. The flavors verged on tasting artificial. Not my style and also, I believe, not a great representation of the style.
Love the heavy espresso. Hubbard's Stouts are always at the top for me.
Smells like freshly brewed black coffee. Mouthfeel is slightly syrupy. If you like very sweet stouts this one is a heavy maple sweetness. Aromatic and taste experience throughout of coffee.
The coffee flavor dominates too strongly over everything else but this is pretty good
Chilled in a 16 ounce can and poured into a goblet. Look: dark, almost black with finger width head and light lacing. Smell: sweet, day old coffee, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon Taste: sweet up front with a quick replacement of day old coffee, trailing vanilla with a bit of spice. Bren gets some sweet carrot type of flavor, but I told her that I think she is a bit crazy on that one... but don't tell her I said that. So, we read some reviews and people were saying maple. If you really reach I guess you can get some maple... but you have to reeaaaally reach on the end for it. For a 12% ABV beer, the booze is hidden well in the sweet and day old coffee notes. Feel: medium to full body, light carbonation and no alcohol drying Interesting beer. We love Hubbard's Cave and their dark beers (yum!). If you like the "day old coffee" trend, this one is amazing for a 12%.
Like boozy vanilla chocolate milk...so good
