About This Beer
Cascade’s proximity to Oregon’s wine country inspired them to come up with brews that blurred the lines between wine and beer, leading to glorious hybrids like Valley Flora. To make it, they combined transitional brewing and winemaking techniques to craft a red Sour Ale with the addition of Pinot Noir grapes, then they matured it in oak.
This intense ruby gem is vinous and tannic, glowing with complex notes of dark stone fruit, oaky vanillin, and a whisper of funk. Each rich taste packs a puckering punch and a 10% ABV before arriving at a dry finish.
