Allagash Brewing Company
A Note on This Beer
Champagne hybrid beers are taking over, but very few also contain whole crushed grapes like Allagash’s new Two Lights. Extra bubbly and crisp with a double dose of Sauvignon grape essence, this beer is cause for a celebration!
So raise a glass to Allagash! This brand new achievement from the 16-time GABF award-winner is leaving the taproom for the first time, and about to make a fizzy splash at your next summer beer tasting.
Dry like a glass of sparkling brut or an artisanal Saison with flashes of tangy fruit, this brew never loses track of the scintillating Lager at its core. It features the fresh juiciness of Sauvignon grape must (must is every part of the grape, from the skin to the sweet insides). This straight-from-the-vine essence is further enhanced by the lemon-wine-grape character of Nelson Sauvin Hops. Add in extra crispness from 2 months of lagering and you have a high-class brew that’s set for a sailboat ride around a private lake.
Two Lights will cool you down like a fresh white grape sorbet pulled straight from the freezer. While it chills you to the core, it’ll leave you remarking, “Now this takes summertime refreshment to a new level of luxury.”
