About This Beer
Mortalis got together with their pals at Evil Twin to cook up Twice Baked Break — an indulgent Pastry Stout inspired by chocolate-dipped almond biscotti. The duo began with a rich, roasty, full-bodied Imperial Stout base. Then they conditioned it on house toasted almonds, Madagascar vanilla, Dominican cacao nibs, and over 100 lbs of actual chocolate-almond biscotti!
Tasting Notes
Velvety sips taste like something your Nonna would dunk into a little cup of strong coffee. Toasty cookie tones swirl though fudgy cocoa notes, revealing layers of vanilla, amaretto, and caramel as it warms. And it all culminates in a lingering almond latte finish that keeps you coming back for more.
