Blueberry coffee taste, like nothing I’ve ever had! Great stout!
It was not a good mix of sweet and stout
The blueberry is a bit overwhelmed in this beer. The lemon is quite present. The cinnamon is well blended, but still noticeable. The mocha/chocolate doesn't appear present.
My reviews are never in this format.. But I'm trying to be nice.. So.. Smell - blueberries & lemon g very nice & refreshing.. Can't taste the blueberries though. Color - awesome. Nice, rich, & thick.. Looks promising. Boozy - yup, it's not hidden that well. Taste - what the heck!? It's literally like I just ate a rich, gooey fudge brownie and then took a swig of lysol to wash it down.. I brought it up a few degrees, thinking that might help - nope.. Then even did some mixology to try to dr it up and get rid of that lemon - nope. Stouts have my heart. I never turn them down. Ever. This is the first drain pour stout I've ever done.
Love how the lemon and blueberry comes through the classic stout flavors
I feel like such an oddball giving this a high rating. I love the thick, blueberry feel to it. And the lemon gives it the last good kick.
Mellowed out as it opened up and got warmer
Good not great
I didn’t get any Blueberry, Lemon, or Cake flavor. Bland and sour. I didn’t even finish it. I’ll have another one before I make any more comments......
Hmmm. A little weird, it’s exactly as advertised though. Glad I gave it a try but not my preference for a stout
Very rich and fruity .
Heavy on the spice, fruity lemon, thin body, slightly bitter metallic on the finish
Disclaimer I’m not a stout (booze soup) person. I couldn’t combine sweet and stout in my mouth definitely gagged and couldn’t finish it.
It’s good. I probably would not drink it again but glad I tried it.
Definitely has the spice. Low on blueberry taste, more like coffee
Interesting idea not my cup of tea
Really intense. Not very beery
Sour berry start with a fudgy finish. Weird aftertaste.
Strong lemon and cinnamon. Not much blueberry that I could taste.
Blueberry notes, hint of lemon and coffee flavors. Not a bad stout
Not my favorite.
An noticably strong, overtly sweet, dessert stout with just a hint of tanginess added. There's far too much going on to recommend pairing it with food, but its unique aroma and flavor grew on me more and more as I drank it. A nice way to slowly unwind at the end a long of a long week.
Basically lemon juice with some stout mixed in for color
Lemon added an rind bitterness. Blueberry didn't help
Very interesting description but it was pulled off. Very good.
Lemon Stout, hard pass
The flavors just don’t work.
Flavors didn’t mesh like I had hoped
Drain pourrrrrr. My sink pipes enjoyed this one.
Decent. Exactly what it promised but it just clashes. Cant let this one warm gets almost Pithy and bitter (in an unpleasant way).
Not my favorite but OK
Classic pastry stout - the blueberry and lemon taste forward. Very boozy and sweet.
Just didn't work.
Too much going on
16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, tiny ring of head. Aroma is savory and blueberries, cinnamon, waffles. Taste brings sweetness, chocolate, light roast. Very breakfasty. Sweet, savory, dry bitterness comes in late.
I enjoy stouts, this wasn't for me.
Went in with an open mind, but ultimately have to agree with other reviews. Lemon does not belong in this beer. Blueberry and cinnamon would have been lovely. The lemon gives it a product-y aftertaste.
Blueberry not so present very subtle lemon and heavy stout ehhhh not the greatest mix
Not great, flavors didn’t really come over well, just heavy with no subtlties
Blueberry and chocolate
Smelled delicious, was excited, but taste was barely that of an average imperial stout. No lemon. No cinnamon. No blueberry. Tried letting it warm up and the cinnamon came through, but that's about it. Poured half down the drain
A little too abstract but good attempt
Flavors are unnoticed and muddled. This creation needs to go back in the box. *New art work required
Aroma is blueberry, bread, and spice. Sweeter blueberry upfront and transitions into lemon and cinnamon in the finish. Bodies appropriate for the style. The lemon becomes rind like in the finish as it warms. Not sure what I was expecting here.
Pretty good as a dessert stout with a sweet flavor but I don’t really detect lemons or blueberries. Very subtle flavor if anything. The can art is weird.
Just a bit outside.
Exactly as advertised not totally in love with it but it was a unique experience and definitely worth a try
Tasted blueberry and smelt sweet, but I thought it was a little too Smokey for my taste
The blueberry lemon taste makes for an extremely busy flavor but surprisingly I didn’t feel like this one was doing too much - like coffee and blueberries
