Usual Anchorage quality superb covfefe hit
Good but falls short of blessed and others
Coffee is so smooth and balanced!
Coffee and coconut. Coffee is a bit bitter but the coconut balances. Not a ton of barrel but balanced
One of the best coffee beers I have ever had. Glad I got this
I love big boozy and roasty beers, and I don’t really mind overly sweet beers, but this was just too much. Overwhelming flavors that made it difficult to enjoy more than an 8oz pour or so
Anchorage killing it per usual
Haven’t yet had a bad beer from Anchorage.
Great flavor. Loves these Anchorage brews.
Phenomenal stout with a nit hit of coffee
Chocolate covered espresso beans you’d buy in a convenience store.
I haven't tried it yet but can't unrate!
Give me more
So much coffee
GOOD! The Best Coffee Stout.
Is this beer or port? Either way it’s delicious!
Not their best
Something had to be wrong with my bottle, it was undrinkable. Disappointing.
This is alcoholic sugar syrup! This is a perfect desert beer with beautiful hint of coconut and coffee. Hardly any head as I would expect from this thick syrupy beer.
One of the first anchorages of recent memory that was just okay... coffee was a bit strange, slightly green and peppery. Something tasted a little off. Not my favorite but good mouthfeel though.
The coffee, the coconut, near perfection
Heavy coffee. Sweetness, coffee and barrel all work great
Another solid stout by Anchorage!
Thick and delicious
Incredibly intense. So much sediment, it stays in suspension. Definitely one to share, if possible.
Most coffee forward beer I've ever tried. Wish the sweetness had some barrel heat to round it out-- kind of mixed on these non-spirit aged ba stouts.
One of the best coffee stouts I’ve had
More heavy on the coffee than the coconut but both notes shine.
Coffee bomb but sweet. Can’t believe it’s almost 16%
Fantastic coconut and coffee flavors. I usually do not like coffee beer but this was great
Fantastic AB offering from Anchorage, as always. Wish the coconut was more prominent, but the coffee shines.
Big coconut flavor, chocolate in back ground let this beer warm or you’ll taste nothing
Good coffee chocolate mix
Anchorage brings the heat
Really good. The coconut tones down the coffee
Loved the coffee on this, as it was really pronounced
Coffee dark lord. Think this might be a 3floyds collab lol
Awesome coffee in this one. High quality
This one is brilliant. The coconut and coffee work PERFECTLY together. The oak mellows everything out, but damn that coffee shines. I can’t think of a better after dinner beer.
Holy amount flavor of chocolate fudge, it literally tastes like chocolate milkshake. Yummy!
Goddam! Where do I even start? Aroma is of bourbon soaked brownie, roasted coconut and cold brew coffee. The mouthfeel is thick and velvety. Taste is smooth coffee and roasted coconut, some vanilla and bourbon barrel. Balanced to perfection!
Way too coffee forward for me to enjoy properly. Most Anchorage stouts and barleywines were good but this left to be had or tone down some.
Best Dark I’ve had so far! Still searching & learning this new craft beer world.
This beer is super super tasty. It pours thick, but not syrupy. Furthermore, the beer is sweet, but not cloying. The oak lends a beautiful balance to the adjuncts. For me, this beer is just a tad too dense. I think a slightly thinner body would fatigue my tastebuds less.
My favorite coffee stout ever. Mocha Frappuccino.
NOT DRINKABLE! So disappointed! I’m done with Anchorage. You can have it
It tasted like soy sauce. 🤮
Thick and rich. Notes of caramel and coffee. Want to buy a case of this.
I enjoyed the amount of coffee in this
Anchorage never disappoints!
So good. Like alcoholic chocolate.
Bang on strong coffee, chocolate and coffee flavors!
Had two different stouts by anchorage and would have to say they were two of the top beers I’ve ever had. Better than the bourbon county variants!
Thick and delicious
Another solid banger from Anchorage
Absolutely phenomenal beer. A touch too thick but the flavor is incredible
Can dig these foeder aged brews.
Light coconut and well balanced with coffee, not biter, well served at 55 degrees.
Lots of coffee and coconut. Wonderful beer!
great tasting, easy going stout for being high in abv
viscous and delicious
Delicious. Enough said.
Coffee dominated the nose in a good way: thick and inviting. It's also the primary taste but coconut smooths it out nicely. Enough sweetness but not syrupy. An all around solid and very tasty beer.
Nice barrel and coffee. Top notch stuff
Very coffee forward at first with the bitterness. Then the coconut takes in on the finish. Not very much barrel flavor
Here it is.. My first perfect score!! This craft was DELICIOUS, with a full body of dark roast coffee and ended with a creamy coconut taste, this beer was exactly needed for a celebration!
Just a great well rounded beer. Not a big coconut person but this has just the right taste to compliment the strong coffee character!
coffee coffee coffee…and the viscosity is incredible
Absolutely perfect. Coffee/espresso, chocolate, very smooth with low carbonation. Best stout I’ve had. Have been trying to find more, but no luck.
Just oozing with chocolate and coconut! Goes down silky smooth! The best barrel aged stout I’ve ever had!
Anchorages reputation for stouts is maintained. Great balance of coconut and coffee, huge and burly stout just shy of being too intense
Lord of coffee, lots of chocolate, lots of booze. Another perfect score from Anchorage
Solid stout. Hint of coconut and sweetness in combo with a nice amount of coffee and cocoa.
One of the best beers I’ve ever had. SUPER rich & SUPER thick! Truly one of a kind
awesome coffee and bourbon balance.
Tons of coffee and coconut
Previous Anchorage beers used bourbon barrels because of the flavor and softness of vanilla, but at last sacrifice, they started using Missouri oak barrels, which are huge amounts of coffee and the coconut oak barrels that come after them, so they blend in and taste better than the bourbon.(But Blessed is The BEST)
A bold entry
Ton of coffee. Pretty sweet
This tasted like I opened a can of Hershey syrup, added some water so it was not just syrup and drank liquified chocolate syrup. This was unbearable to drink the whole bottle. Even thinking of it now, it’s making me cringe
I mean, brewed by ABC...what more could you need to know?
Exceptional. Oily & viscous w/ a massive roast profile rolled into subtle, oaken coconut. ABV is masterfully hidden. There’s a reason ABC stouts are pricey, and it’s not because they’re shipped from AK, it’s because they’re worth it. This is a cut above!
So f’ing good
