This is a top notch DDH DIPA. This beer has plenty of tropical flavor but it’s not over the top. Instead it’s waiting right behind that classic NE style IPA bite. This is so smooth that it doesn’t taste like an 8%. Mountains Walking really knows what they’re doing. I visited the brewery in person last month and was impressed by every beer I tried, as well as with their knowledgeable staff. I will buy several cans of any Mountains Walking beer ever offered here.
Tropical and pungent is accurate. Tasted less than an 8%. Would have it again but not go out of my way to seek it out.
16oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow, hazy, patchy head. Aroma is sharp, bitter hoppiness, light citrus. Taste is mostly grapefruit peel, oats adding a creamy texture and a little sweetness. Dry bitterness remains on the palate.
Fruity, pleasant finish. Sharp nose.
Fairly light. Would be nice in the Spring afternoon to drink. Doesn’t hit like a high ABV beer, which I liked.
Delicious. Surprisingly lighter than what I thought this 8% would be.
The nose is very aggressive, but it's actually incredibly mellow and smooth.
Dank and juicy but somewhat sticky bitter. 4.1
I enjoyed the beer. Not a typical NEIPA, sort of tasted like a sour/ tart IPA.
Bomb.com! The hops are a great flavor and equally as good after taste! Not for the faint pretty heavy but very delicious
Great aroma, easy drinker for 8%
Phenominal. Hops, juice and haze in all the right places. Well done!
It is silky soft and has a lots of hoppy tropical and resin tastes.
Very tropic but not overwhelming. Doesn’t feel like an 8%
Solid double double
Super smooth for 8%
Little more on the malty side for a hazy IPA but the fruity hops are still there
Not my favorite Mountains Walking, but it’s like picking your favorite kid.
I enjoyed the smooth mouthfeel of this one
Light bitterness and super smooth.
Daily corona battle. VAX DAY! edition. Creamy and earthy with a grapefruit pithy finish that dominates it a bit.
This is delicious and very under rated.
Very tropical on the nose. Nice citrus, pithy taste. Super smooth for an 8%
This is a solid 4.25 might even say 4.35 smooth crushable delightful hop flavor Profile delicious
Nice balance, smooth. Ready for another.
Superb flavor and mouthfeel but dry finish
Not as crisp as I’d like
It was delicious. This is a hard style to make stand out, but I feel like they nailed it.
Was expecting hazier
Super delicious I do want more
Very well made DDH with some floral flavors and nice bitterness
Galaxy prevalent brew with amazing light flavors for being high in ABV
A hazy, hoppy, pineapple, grapefruit party
6/15/21 Dank berries and tropical fruit
Hoppy and tropical with a smooth finish.
nice bitterness and love the haze
Mountains walking delivers again! Wonderful flavor profile provided by the mosaic hops. This almost reminds me of their mosaic cloud curtain IPA. Well done.
another solid IPA by mountains walking. from my experience they are amount the best in the biz at crafting tasty IPAs! get yourself some!
One of the first IPAs I ever tried and liked. Glad to be be able to have it again through Tavour.
Bit off putting hop flavor at first. Plasticy. Mixed up some sediment and can got juicier. Slight hop burn in the back of the throat. It's been evening out as I go.
Not so bad
Mountains Walking never disappoints.
Nothing really stood out to me on this one, but tasty nonetheless. 🍻
great tasting beer
This beer made me want to cry. mostly because my best friend, Rob, drank all of it.
Hops are no joke.
tropical with a nice resin back end
Pillow froth and tropic lemon DDH. Mountains Walking doing solid things!
Refreshing and perfect hops
Pithy juicy citrus on a foamy fluffy body
good but nothing separating it from all the other ne ipas
bold and punchy with a soft cushion of foam
