I love The Big Lebowski. I love White Russians. I love Milk Stouts. I have no fucking clue why this beer is called a “White Russian Milk Stout.” It’s a stout, sure. But it’s got a smoky flavor to it that doesn’t remind me of Kahlúa or chocolate, or vodka.
Nice pastry stout. A bit of chocolate, not heavy. Nice smooth mouth feel.
Very subtle White Russian flavor. Little to no head but very robust in dark chocolate flavor. Outstanding
Great Milk Stout. A little more chocolaty than I anticipated. Still delicious!
smooth and chocolatey enough to double as a desert
overall tastes like very sweet alcoholic coffee - more black than White Russian. each flavor (coffee, chocolate, lactose, marshmallow) comes through but overall it’s really just an over sweet stout.
Smooth mouthfeel (definitely don't taste the 10.5% until after), can definitely taste the coffee and cream. A real solid milk stout that I'd be up for having a second time and would recommend to others.
Very strong, and a bit chocolately. Not many other flavors for a stout, didn’t taste like a White Russian at all.
a bit much from the cream. I wasn’t getting much White Russian but more coconut. there were some good coffee notes, however.
The Dude imbibes.
Chocolatey and smooth. Also sippable. Definitely supremely drinkable. Nice coffee aftertaste. Not particularly foamy, but not too much bite.
smooth and delicious.
"I think it's down there, I just need another look "
The dude abides.
really think, no head at all. tastes a lot like a white Russian.
I wanted to try a stout, just not for me. Definitely taste the White Russian flavor.
Pretty damn good stout. Smooth and flavorful. Nice mouthfeel
tasty, but there was something fruity about it.
It really does taste like a White Russian. So so good!!
can really taste the marshmallow flavor
Light, smooth, absolutely delicious.
Look: dark (almost black), little to no head and zero lacing as we drank it. Smell: hints of vanilla, chocolate notes, roast, and sweetness Taste: on the front end we get sweet sticky, hints of light chocolate, in the middle we get roast, on the end we get intense lingering vanilla (marshmallow?), soft sweet lingers, not boozy at all for a 10%. Feel: somewhat full, sweet sticky in the middle that hangs around in your mouth as we drank, little to no carbonation. Bren really likes this one because for a 10% the booze is hidden well, we think the marshmallow, lactose and cream they use really ease the booze, and add a nice mouthfeel smoothness. I liked the beer because of the title (you find a stranger in the alps). We live in the Portland OR area and love the mountains. The brew is a nice dark stouty-smoothness that we love in our dark beers and love the Cornell looking PNW dude on the label... lol... Cheers!
This beer is not bitter but not too sweet either. I usually drink this after dinner.
This dude most certainly abides
slight coffee. nothing special
This beer’s definitely not a f***in’ travesty, man!
The flavor just fits perfectly for what I was looking for in this imperial stout.
tastes pretty much like a White Russian. enjoyed
Way too sweet
smooth and balanced, flavors as described, I enjoy White Russian cocktails, this was a nice take on it
The cream was just a bit strong - with almost a coconut finish. Had it been toned down a bit, I think I would have enjoyed it even more. Definitely smooth
I don’t remember so much
Nice coffee and vanilla notes. Marshmallow adds a sweetness that is a little strong.
Rich and delicious
Loved the combination of flavors!
smooth Sipping white Russian notes but not quite as enjoyable as a White Elm
milky, rich, delicious
Nice milk stout. Rich color & aromas. Went down smooth.
not getting the White Russian taste unfortunately
delicious. one of my favorites.
pours a thick, dark pour with no head. chocolate nose. thick chocolate flavor with a hint of vanilla, coffee, and marshmallow sweetness. It tastes like what I want those breakfast cereal stouts to taste like!
tasty dessert milk stout though a bit too sweet
marshmallow, creamy, cocoa
a nice smooth drinking chocolate stout
How could you possibly go wrong with a solid Big Lebowski themed beer name? This dude abides!
