Super refreshing. Grapefruit peel and all the other breakfast beverages represented.
The beer is quite hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left thick rings of bubbles around the sides of the glass and a thin head covering the surface. The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of lychee and hints of basil-like herbs. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
On the first sip I get a little lychee and then mild bitterness. I agree with those who say that this is a slightly hoppy Pilsner...
Described as an India pale ale here, I have seen it described as a New England elsewhere. It is a cloudy and hoppy and citrusy beer. Very well done. Much better than the rankings here give it.
Haze and citrus not super hoppy
Hoppy Pilsner, not bad
Wonderful hoppy nose; floral & tropical. Robust, foamy head. Pours a hazy light gold hue. Clean, smooth mouthfeel. Palate is mainly citrusy. Grapefruit is prominent. Subtle tangerine, pineapple, & piney notes follow. Low bitterness, but enough to notice.
My favorite Anchorage IPA so far
Another fantastic beer by Anchorage.
Citrusy with a slightly dry finish
Okay. A bit mild. Good but not their best.
16oz can from Tavour. Hazy, milky yellow pour, fine head. Light bready aroma, faint citrus. Taste is zippy and zesty, and the flavors are very subdued . Creamy feel. Leaves your palate buzzing.
Well balanced; light body, a bit of sweetness on front with clean finish. Crushable no doubt. Subtle but very very good.
Juicy Hazy IPA with a clean finish.
Very light hop IPA. I would say it is not as bitter as you would expect from and IPA, rather a bit more on the smooth side.
Complex with all sorts of tropical fruits and citrus.
Lacked depth of flavor, but still a solid beer
I like the low hopiness of this
This ones good! It’s juicy and tasty. Nothing spectacular but then again, I expect everything from Anchorage to be spectacular which is setting the bar too high for anyone! This is still far and away better than more run of the mill hazies!
Citrus hop refreshing
Very mild hoppy flavor, really mild flavor in general. Solid beer, hazy but tastes more like a slightly hoppy Pilsner.
Juicy, tasty IPA. Nice fruit notes, maybe a bit less hoppy than I was expecting.
They did it again
Citrusy, juicy, but subtle hoppiness. Nice ipa.
A nice, subtle, and remarkably smooth IPA.
Have yet to be disappointed by this great brewery in anchorage, lovely smooth beer with a great bitter taste
Good tasting. I let someone try it who normally doesnt drink these kind of beers and they enjoyed it just as much!
Can’t go wrong with Anchorage!
Crisp, hoppy and refreshing.
Tastes great. Anchorage always seems to have great artwork on their cans too
It’s not my favorite. Very similar to a Sierra Nevada. Good start but too much bite
Not to hazy and good overall hops.
Simply didn't enjoy this NEIPA. Too much of the rotten fruit hand creme flavor.
I think this is my new favorite by them super juicy.
Nice blend of hops, citrus, and pine
Honestly, the best beer I've had from Anchorage. It's not overly hoppy like most IPAs, and the cut off citrus is so satisfying.
Great ipa... not the juicy variety so I was happy
An incredible IPA.
Another solid ipa from anchorage. Good stuff.
Really good. Sweet, citrusy, and crushable. My wife even said she liked it.
Thin, not mad about it. Juicy.
Solid IPA with a little woody/Nutty flavors vs. citrus flavors. Slight bitterness but still juicy and refreshing.
This is a real middle-of-the-road DDH IPA Soft Tepid Domesticated wolf dog Trimmed Declawed Yawning Resting on the floor in front of the camp stove, the tick tok of the grandson clock is easily audible over Jack's low breathing Sometimes that kind of boredom is not preciptated as boredom, but peace Sometimes on a Sunday afternoon, the sun casting warm trapazoids of light across beech wood floors, the sound of time passing with neither excitement nor trepidation is Exactly What the doctor ordered
Light but juicy citrus notes with really clean finish.
Very nice, well-balanced juciness
Good clean ipa
Hoppy, hazy...effervescent with a touch of citrus. Smooth & crisp...very tasty!
Flavorful IPA but wish it was a little more balanced. Really starting to love the flavors of the Talus hop
I also did not drink this one
Mild citrus. Not too hoppy. Light after taste.
Anchorage scores again, amazing beer. Just like all the others I’ve gotten from them.
Really another 4.5
Not too hoppy but really tasty.
Love Anchorage brewing but this one missed for me
1/8/21 typically exceptional Anchorage haze. This one’s particularly interesting. Bright and yeasty with bitterly unripe tropical fruit and a dank, dry finish. This goes down way too easily.
another great one from Anchorage Brewing.
Smooth, Hazy, Citrusy, Hoppy, Effervescent
