yet another example of why Anchorage is one of my favorite brewers of IPAs.
Really nice, silky, perfect balance
What you'd expect from a great IPA.
Another winner from alaska
If an anchorage brew pops up on Tavour, just buy it. Thank me later.
Consistent sips, but something I can get locally. Not extravagant, but I don’t hate the thought of the next sip. I can smash it as well without pinching my face from the bitterness. It’s good, but not exactly what I’m looking for.
Solid beer. Well balanced. Nice hop smell throughout.
Great beer, love the the citrusy grapefruit notes. Mouth coating feel.
For me this beer is almost perfect. It's dank, it's refreshing, it's dry, it's bitter in the most exciting and stimulating way. There's a fruitiness to it, but the kind I really love tossed into the hop cauldron: an organic citus that tastes as fresh as the orchard I imagine growing at my ranch in California, a few days before peak ripeness when the tangerines, grapefruit, and oranges are tad more on the tart side. This is a brew that's going to deliver the right amount of focus and whimsy for the zenlike euphorial drifting around the party where you'll be ready for the next thing, whatever it happens to be. It's not perfectly smooth or saccharine, and it's not masking some inflated ABV. It's versatile; you're not trying go get fucked up on it; you're gonna have a good time. Whether you end up going back your book, doing some personal reflection on the terrace, joyfully washing up all the dishes though no one asked you too, or snogging a rando in the bathroom, it doesn't matter! It's not trying too hard, and neither should you.
Firm hops yet refreshing!
Citrusy, dry-hop, hoppy, grapefruit
Anything with cashmere or galaxy I’m getting
another winner from anchorage. super soft
Love the galaxy notes. Super smooth. Anchorage hits another home run.
One of my favorites!
I buy anything the sell.
I get a lot of the melon, which admittedly isn’t my favorite flavor. 2nd go around I get more of the lingering pleasant piney finish. I liked this even more. Another Anchorage winner.
Superb. Great flavor and mouthfeel.
Anchorage brewing has yet to disappoint. Nice, smooth and silky finish. Great blend of citrus & melon notes.
Another AK win. Not the best but still a 4 outta 5
Mouthful. Excellent beer.
What can I say...it's another anchorage ipa. Always good drinking
Aroma reminds me of soft pineapple, peach, soft herb. In the flavor the fruit is found with bolder floral notes with soft herbal pine. Cashmere hops always come off very floral to me. Good.
You had me at Anchorage Brewing.
Strong hops! Really fit the Viking vibe!
Another solid Anchorage IPA
reading the tasting notes I just don’t get it… fine but to my buds nothing special.
You like ipa? Just get any Anchorage beers you see. The dry hop really shines on this one
Guess I should’ve known better, but Anchorage is such a superb brewery I went with it - just so done with fruitbomb IPAs, not for me..
Very nice, but nothing overly special. Anticipated the funk flavor, being anchorage, of bret or similar but was lacking.
Great as per usual from Anchorage
Anchorage is very good
Nice and dry. Quite refreshing.
Citrus and melon on the nose. Grapefruit and orange on the tongue with a hoppy, earthy finish of lemongrass that sticks with the palate. So good!
Resinous, dank, yeasty bitter citrus. Drinks like a hazy West Coast.
