If you’re familiar with the craft scene in the Keystone state, you probably just did a double take — hasn’t Spring House been around for over a decade?
Yep! But over the past couple of years, the brewery has completely reinvented itself. Check out all the changes:
A New Head Brewer! Eddie Lopez Jr. runs things these days. Formerly of the beloved Hangar 24 Brewing, Eddie is bringing some west coast flare to Spring House, with bold hop flavors and fanatical attention to detail.

Brand New Beer! This brew is a glorious example of Spring House’s new direction. The brewers loaded it with a trifecta of exotic hops from New Zealand — Moutere, Motueka, and Pacifica — for bold flavors of dank papaya, ripe melon, and tangy tangerine. On the finish, pithy grapefruit and a touch of earthy pine balance the tropically sweet flavors.
If you’ve tried Spring House before, it’s time to revisit the PA staple and taste what they’ve become. If you’ve never sampled a brew from this crew, don’t fret — this brewery is better than ever!
