About This Beer
To craft The Sinister Gaze of the Unapologetic, the NC Stout specialists teamed up with California’s microbrewery, There Does Not Exist. The duo started with an imperial base brewed with Mosaic Hyperboost for unique hints of citrus and resin. Then they conditioned the brew on cocoa nibs, sea salt, and vanilla beans, swathing it all in the dessert-y deliciousness you’ve come to expect from Burial.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t had the pleasure of trying it yet, but we’re expecting aromas of dark cocoa and delicate citrus rising out of every velvety pour like a chocolate orange. On the swig, anticipate rich mocha tones cascading into fruity notes of blueberry compote and a touch of marmalade. Careful though — you might find yourself contemplating just a whisper of sage on the finish and completely miss the 15% ABV!
