Tart, Sharp, unlike most other sours in a good way
so good it was hard to share. dark and delightful. my word that is some amazing liquid!
Refreshing to have a classic sour. Tart, fruit forward, no sugar, and didn’t want to reach for the tums. My goodness the barrel is awesome if you add some agave on the second half of the second glass of this! I liked it as is, but dang did it make the berries flourish adding agave.
Tart, great blueberry flavor, delicious
tart and dry…great sour!
very very tart! very pretty color. I struggled with the finish a bit but I did like it. I wish it had a bit more fruity flavor.
ALL the dark red fruits... Blackberry IZZE soda, On a hot day, you put ice in the glass... In ten minutes it's melted and slightly dilutes the sweetness, While leaving the earthly tongue-smackedness at full potency. Sour balanced evenly with bitter ascorbicicity. Pomegranate bathing in plum juice gets a bucket of cranberries crashed over its head.
very surprised by this!
fantastic. absolutely fantastic. It’s literally a taste in between a strawberry and raspberry. very smooth and it has a crisp tart finish that I love
sour, fruity, rich and complex
Very unique berry flavor, not overly tart or sour but you can still get the berries. Enjoyable for sure!
real good if you’re a fan of sours
A little too sour for my taste
Tartness has a crispness to it that was pleasant. Almost no sweetness at all; definitely a sour.
perfect mix of sweet and tart. well done.
That’s a real sour! Great taste!
Kind of funky, very tart. Definitely unique
Solid! Pricey but glad I tried.
this beer is incredible. one of the best I’ve ever had. when I see this brewing company again I will def be buying
Anchorage does it all! love this sour!
Great fruit presenece, not to much but it really kicks you in the mouth. it's fantastically tart.
Crisp, flavor packed sour.
tart and funky, and the berries impart tons of blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, honey. and hard candy with a little bit of oaky vanilla to smooth it all out. bright effervescent carbonation. excellent, excellent sour
Party in my mouth
like tart wine. personally liked Scream 10x better. it had more of the berry flavor.
berries , tart, fermented taste
fruity and sour
just read the other reviews, it’s all true
i cannot stress enough how excellent this beer is. blueberry and raspberry wallops the front end, and oak creeps in on the aftertaste. absolutely divine
anchorage knocked it out of the park. everything you could want in a sour
amaaaaazing sour from anchorage!
Absolutely fantastic!! Tart with a earthy, dry finish. Hope I get a chance to grab more of these down the road.
this was such a great beer
Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised. I’m usually not a big fan of this style, but took a chance because well, it’s from Anchorage. Glad I got ahold of this one. Tart, fruity, and an interesting dry yet semi-sweet combination. A pleasure to enjoy.
absolutely amazing. perfect combination of flavors
Incredible Alaskan sour
Deep purple color. Earthy aroma along with berries and oak. Taste of tart yogurt, rich berries, and oak. Acidic and tannic. Complex and delicious.
sour yet sweet and fruity
pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good!
The sour is present but the taste that comes along with it is very pleasant. I’m. it sure what it is - but it’s not quite for me.
tart, great balance
bright acidic berry, but with an acetone note that holds it back
This would definitely not be my first choice for a beer but it wasn't bad. A bit sour and fruity, but not overly sour
