About This Beer
Garden Path began this IPA-inspired brew with Skagit Valley malts and Pacific Northwest Crystal and Perle Hops. Next, they coolshipped, open fermented, and aged it in oak barrels for nine months. A round of dry hopping with whole-flower PNW Crystal, Mt. Rainier, and Willamette Hops came next, before they finally bottle conditioned it with local fireweed honey.
Tasting Notes
This fascinating brew sits somewhere between a Farmhouse Ale and a more standard hoppy brew.
Each crisp, medium-bodied sip washes across your palate with a fine natural carbonation. Hints of honey weave into a lemony tang, herbaceously bitter hop tones, and Bretty funk. Altogether, the layered character forms an intricate tapestry of bright citrus and earthy, barnyard nuances. Understated stone fruit tones flicker through the taste before it all arrives at a bone dry finish.
