This one was a little weird at first but grew on me... gotta love banana to appreciate. Vanilla and cinnamon swirl through the finish. Last few sips as got warmer were a little bleh but loved the bold flavors that were on the front end.
Great banana notes and sneaky APV
Simply tasted like a cheap (yikes) golden ale
Interesting beer. Only Drank about 1/4 of the can because it’s VERY rich. I think the cinnamon sort of throws it off w/ the 9% because the cinnamon has a throat punch by itself.
I expected a bigger banana flavor, so that was a bit disappointing.. But overall it was a smooth golden ale for being a 9%. I'll play around with temperatures for the 2nd can to see if more of the flavors come thru then. But as of right now, I wouldn't get this again.
Tasted like malty liquor I understand it was a strong ale. I know pootoon has bangers let’s get more
Banana and cinnamon flavors are not discernable. This is not reminiscent of Bananas Foster.
Didn’t taste like Banana’s foster at all. Was kinda smooth for the abv, but I won’t buy again.
Amazing beer, that great taste went great with my meal. My friend took and sip and was really jealous, he wants to plan a trip to Georgia right now haha
light smooth and crisp.
Delicious sweetness followed by spiced banana kicker. I like it!
Oh man, to me, this brought me back to my trip to Germany. It reminded me of the Hefeweizen served up in the local taverns. Simply delicious.
Hella strong and hella banana. If you like yellow taffy you’ll like this.
Actually kind of refreshing, nice change of pace
Different but very likable. Banana and spice flavors as advertised. Smooth for a 9% ABV
Not a lot of banana
Liked it. Didn’t love it.
Great Belgian style beer.
Nice dessert beer
This tastes pretty good!
Very similar to Leffe with a touch of banana.
Alright, not my favorite but the bananas foster definitely comes through
Did not get Bananas Foster taste, was more like an unripened banana.
Taste like a banana :)
Not for me. Almost had a liquor-y taste hence the rum soaked banana. Couldn’t finish it and gave my second one away
It has a strong flavor of liquor so this beer isnt for the weak Nice crispy flavor of banana with a sweet taste due to the vanilla and cinnamon But it does have a strong after taste What you expect from a 9% Ale Its a creeper Good Beer Overall
No banana flavor, just yellow.
Fragrant Banana- Vanilla and Cinnamon notes- Strong full flavors
First sip was great. But then the flavor just went down hill. Not sure why but wasn't for me.
Meh... I wanted to like this more.
Didn’t remind me of bananas at all
I enjoyed it. Subtle banana flavor, not too overpowering. Good beer to have with a pizza imho.
I definitely get the banana flavor and cloves.
Very strong but not overly banana-y
The cloves flavor overpowers the rest of the flavor. Definitely can taste the banana at the end of each sip.
Faint banana taste on the back end
Easy to drink, but the banana flavor isn't very forward. However, the hint of banana that's in there doesn't taste fake. I also don't taste the cinnamon. Despite those issues, it's still a good accompaniment to a light lunch.
Was expecting something more
I expected a big banana flavor, but this one was much more of a golden ale. Still very good. The banana was a pleasant addition to a crisp drinkable beer.
Good flavor. Head didn’t last long and lack of carbonation, (compared to Belgian counterparts), gave it a syrupy mouthfeel. It seems like most American imitations of Belgian ales are slightly disappointing.
Better than I thought it would be
Loved this beer! Huge fan of Belgians and this doesn’t disappoint. Banana tastes slightly artificial but was still very good. Perfect dessert beer and not too sweet.
Love the subtle toasty banana flavour. It’s not as overbearing as I thought it would be! Brown sugar and baking spices on the back of the flavour. Super fun!
