About This Beer
The folks at Evil Twin spent 46 months quietly aging a lusciously malty Barleywine in Laird’s apple brandy barrels. And when it had soaked up all the deliciously boozy flavors from that exquisite oak, they blended it with another Barleywine - this one aged 45 months in Blis maple syrup barrels.
Tasting Notes
If you’re lucky enough to grab a bottle, you can anticipate rich flavors of candied date and fig bolstered by notes of caramel and toffee. Hints of luscious maple blend with notes of apple pie filling in the finish, along with a hint of barrel char.
