About This Beer

This NEIPA is basically catnip for craft fans.

When I crack open a can, I feel just like my cat Simon. One time he got his paws on a big bag of catnip and ate the entire thing, and after hours of bouncing off the walls, he curled up and snoozed blissfully for the rest of the day. I admit, I was jealous of what looked like an amazing time.

But now, I’m the one worthy of envy because my fridge is stocked with this juicebomb!

Tasting Notes

This lush sucker entices right from the first whiff with kushy pine and grapefruit-spritzed aromas. On the tongue — holy cats! The brewers at Exhibit ‘A’ packed this hazy juicebomb with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado Hops for hugely nectarous, invigorating splashes of ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, and ripe stone fruit.

Soft Fruity tropical flavor but after taste is a little too earthy/piney that lingers

Pillowy, nice head retention, mild hop. My wife thinks it tastes flat, I think it’s easy and crushable.

I'm a novice, so for me my only frame of reference in comparing is that this was like a blue moon with some orange squeezed into it before hand. Not someone who goes for these types of beers either but I both enjoyed it and got comfortably buzzed. Liked it enough that I cleared two cans right after the other, a rarity for me. Tl;dr Cheers.

Earthy, solid yeast strain, enough fruit to balance it out

Light and easy to crush. Subtle citrus (did I mention light?) and easy going APV. Not bad but also not assertive into my memory banks.

This is a lovely beer, but not your typical NEIPA. It’s not overloaded on the fruitiness- actually tastes to me like a west coast IPA in hazy NE clothing. Piney undertones with a hint of orange. Nice beer to have with dinner.

Crushable hazy. Aftertaste reminiscent of a parmesan cheese rind that's been sitting in the back of the fridge for two years. Trust me, it's a compliment. There's a sweet tickling on the soft palate to go with, Like the smell of a tough knot, Of a tussle, Of toasted marshmallow amber fur, Hot from the afternoon sun Caught between the knuckles, And lifting its dainty dander dust, Like pine spores rising from wind-pollenated crop fields in late spring, As though the earth was breathing a sigh, Of unburdening, and contentment, Stretching out its paws, And showing the whole room it's yawning maw. This, is another perfectly wonderful day, To be alive.

A lighter IPA that was very refreshing and went well with some pizza last night. If you are looking for super hoppy this is not the beer for you.

Popped the can and tropical notes fly out. Pour the beer and it looks like a gorgeous NEIPA. Take a sip (insert sad trombone sound effect) and it kind of falls flat for me. Hoppy and lacking character. Like Garfield, I hate Mondays.

2.61/5 look: 4.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 1.75 | feel: 2.75 | overall: 2.25 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a IPA glass. Look- Straw, very hazy, slightly above average head retention and lacing, frothy white head. Smell- Grassy, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste- Grapefruit, super abrasive and unsavory grassy/earthy flavor. Feel- Between thin and medium body, medium bitterness, very astringent lingering finish that crawls down the throat, average carbonation. Overall- Very unbalanced aggressive and unpleasant grassy/earthy flavor.
