A Note on This Beer
The Philadelphia Inquirer calls out Levante Brewing as having some of the Best Beers in Philadelphia, while Food & Wine names them one of the 30 Best Breweries in Pennsylvania.
But their fans place Levante on a pedestal as the PA parallel to NY’s SingleCut, ME’s Bissel Brothers and even MA’s Treehouse! They’re taking the Northeast by storm, and now they’re coming for your favorite Hazy IPA breweries one-by-one.
Levante already took down Tired Hands and Other Half in a NE-style IPA blind taste test carried out by Hop Culture! But to overcome the rest, they’ll need 3 things:
- Hopheads thirsty for hazebombs.
- An intricately crafted, and seriously juicy hazebomb unlike any other.
They have the first two locked down. To cross off #3, we expect they’ll use today’s 8.1% ABV secret weapon, The 5-Point Palm Exploding Hop Technique NE-style Imperial IPA.
Levante used an extremely rare technique to craft this brand-new, small-batch juicebomb. If you dare to bear witness to its extreme levels of hop-juice, you may never go back to that Treehouse hazy again.
The brewers start with 5 varieties of hops: Idaho 7, Amarillo, Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe, which are added at different crucial contact points throughout the brewing process. The first strike is a hit of all 5 hops to the boil, followed by a smack of Amarillo and Citra in the whirlpool stage.
Next comes a 50/50 dry-hop of Idaho 7 and Amarillo during mid- and late-fermentation. And the final blow is dealt in the conditioning stage with a critical hop-load of Cryo-Mosaic, Cryo-Simcoe, and Cryo-Citra. The result: a roundhouse kick to the tastebuds in the best way possible!
A New England IPA of this caliber packs potent punches of fruity hops blanketed in a thick juice. But you won’t ever witness this revolutionary brew outside of Pennsylvania!
Score your cans today and show the 5-Point Palm Exploding Hop Technique off to your friends! Once they start to look to you for their future hazy recommendations, then we’ll see the hazy pupil become the hazy master.
The 5-Point Palm Exploding Hop Technique is too new for ratings!
