Terrifica Italian-Style Horror Pils
A Note on This Beer
Bloomberg has no shortage of choices when it comes to selecting the 11 Best Beers in America. The brews they name aren’t just good — they practically redefine beer styles as we know them.
Just take a look at today’s Terrifica Italian Horror Pils, a.k.a. the beer Bloomberg raved is “Proof that there’s still room for innovation in Portland’s oversaturated beer scene.”
Terrifica is a departure from a standard Pilsner you’d find at the grocery store, or even in most bars. It’s clean, dry, and less about the malt and all about the hops!
Notably, the GABF Medalists at Wayfinder Beer use European Spalt Select and Tettnanger Hops, then dry-hop it with Polaris and more Tettnanger for extra spice and plenty of florals.
Each white-gold sip is ultra complex, yet approachable, with hoppy bitterness right up front that mellows into bread crust and a dash of vanilla.
Terrifica is so terrifically sippable, in fact, that Willamette Week Magazine named it their #1 Beer of 2020. This year’s been pretty insane, so why not kick back, crack open a fresh can of this quencher and end things on a good note?

Crisp. Mildly hoppy with a little of floral and lemon.
Clean pils. Perfect for a hot summer day.
Crisp and effervescent, light and easily drinkable. Dryness and bitterness of the lager balanced out by a gently hoppy finish.
So clean, crisp, and crushable with a dry finish that simultaneously quenches the palate. Such a beautifully constructed pils.
was on my wishlist but not as good as i had hoped
Daily corona battle. #CountryLyfe boxes to town. Rare instance of reordering a Pilsner. Lemony buscuity, crisp and dry.
Distinctive hoppy/floral/herbal nose. Taste is historically hop forward with bitter/malt balance 60/40. Lower carbonation but still has zippy effervescence. Lingering bitter citrus aftertaste. Very pleasant!
One of my fav Italian Pilsners out right now! Crisp, well balanced with just enough hops on the end to make it a great beer.
My favorite wayfinder pils
Keep them coming Wayfinder.
Such a wonderful italian Pilsner. Really just has that depth you want.
Great little Pils. Its like a very good quality Peroni. Great for summer days on the lake or for friends that arent into stronger craft brews.
Love the art, love giallo and Italian horror overall. A crisp, hoppy, floral pilsner with maybe a more aggressive hop character than most. Still highly drinkable, a very solid craft pilsner.
Yo I dig this pils. Dry, hop forward. This Pilsner packs some flavor!
One of my favorite Wayfinder pils
