For this Deth’s Tar variant, the Revolution team joined forces with their friends in Minneapolis, Surly Brewing, inviting them to select a blend of Deth’s Tar casks for a wine-focused finishing routine. Half of that blend was rebarreled in lees-enhanced red wine barrels from a mutually-adored winery, Herman Story in Paso Robles, CA. And the other half was rebarreled back into fresh bourbon barrels.
