About This Beer
When Craft Beer & Brewing first tried Firestone Walker’s Sucaba a decade ago, they gave it a seriously impressive 99/100 score. Since then, the beer has become one of the most sought-after Barleywines in the whole craft scene. But unless you were a member of their exclusive Brewmaster’s Collective beer club, this rare vintage is EXTREMELY difficult to come by.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to decadent notes of baker’s chocolate and caramel, mingling with a touch of savory tobacco, dark cherry, and crème brûlée. And the extended rest in bourbon barrels should translate to dynamic tannic oak and whiskey nuances lingering on the rich finish.
