About This Beer
To craft it, the Windy City legends started with a blend of English-style Barleywines aged in bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned the mix on fresh strawberries for a sensationally jammy accent.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate every pour to perfume the air with sumptuous aromas of ripe berry and vanilla oak. On the sip, look for crème brûlée tones of custard and burnt sugar to mingle with sweet summer fruit before rich date and raisin notes take over on a dry, caramel-kissed finish.

Average English barleywine with a little bit of strawberry added, which unfortunately makes an already-sweet beer excessively sweet.
I liked the first sip of this. Then I didn't like it again.
