lots of toffee and cinnamon make this both complex and on the sweeter side. it’s what it says it is- nothing more nothing less. enjoyed it, but would likely pass for a more rich stout and chocolate profile.
Solid stout, definitely has a complex mix. A bit on the sweet side for me. Good flavor definitely fulfills any sweet tooth you might have. Mostly a one sided brew though. With time on the tongue you can unwind all the particular flavors.
Holy moly this beer is amazing. smells amazing and u can definitely taste the maple in it. I wish I bought more and make a beer shake out of it with vanilla ice cream
outstanding! great flavor that stays consistent the whole time
i put this over vanilla ice cream and made a stout float. highly recommended
I was shocked at first by the lack of carbonation but the taste and after taste is awesome. the scent is great. like a great dessert in a cup. i want more.
This brewery delivered their promise of EVERY flavor note listed, and did it in the exact perfect balance for an ideal flavor. I have to say that I was not expecting much, since I have tried so many pastry stouts on Tavor at this point and have so many untouchable favorites that new brews can't compete with... perhaps it was the can art that threw me off? But anyway, once I tried it, I was in heaven. The butter pecan & caramel is the best part. I felt like I was eating a boozy bowl of butter pecan ice cream drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with cinnamon. The milk sugar adds a creamy ice cream flavor to it, which I would love for all pastry stouts to include and feel like I'm spoiled for life now. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Please make more of these with the milk sugar and caramel! The possibilities are endless, and I'd love to try this without cinnamon for a different experience too :)
Good and heavy, smaller can than usual
Sweet and VERY good!!!
it tastes exactly like as the flavor described. it's a bit more on the thick syrupy side for a beer but it was great. sad we didn't buy more. this is the beer I want to be drinking while passing out Halloween candy. perfect fall beer
It’s like someone baked a pecan pie, but snuck in 2 cups of Jägermeister. Marone
Sweet smooth solid imperial stout
Great beer. Hits all the notes they were going for
“absolutely stellar dessert beer”
Sweet cinnamon taste with thick waves of pecans.
solid stout rich with cinnamon and luscious on the tongue. easy to drink and enjoyable until the last sip
very sweet and and very smooth
Every flavor note listed came thru! Amazing. It was rich & thick, poured beautifully. If you're a huge pecan fan, bring this one to almost room temp, you can still taste all the other notes, but the pecans definitely become the dominant flavor.
Even sweeter than expected, absolutely dessert in a glass Great syrupy mouthfeel
It was okay. It was too much pecan flavoring and overall had a weird aftertaste. I wouldn’t drink more than one.
one of the best beers I’ve had from 3 crates! delicious milk stout you can taste all the flavors and I wish they made it in more than 12oz cans. definitely rebuying this!
It’s exactly what it says it is. Spot on.
Very sweet, butter pecans come through loud and clear
Drank a few sips and had to throw the rest out. It tastes like the flavors described but it’s SO sweet that it tasted like straight syrup. Just couldn’t enjoy it.
too much cinnamon for my liking sadly
This is the best beer I have ever had! Sweet butter pecan and smooth caramel!
amazing dessert beer for sure! maple is a bit strong, not as sweet as expected.
thick and syrupy but nice flavors, pecan and maple syrup stand out the most to me
Party in my mouth
tasty mix of dessert flavors but leaves a flat burnt aftertaste
tastes like a boozy cinnamon roll. nice hint of cinnamon with a little spice to balance out the sweetness.
smooth sweet and amazing , no bitterness at all
Cinnamon and pecan are very noticeable. Beer is not too sweet. Salted caramel and butter pecan flavoring are slightly chemical tasting
I like it, but WAY too sweet
