About This Beer
To make it, the masters at Firestone Walker blended Barleywine aged for over 18 months in 11-year Henry McKenna 9-year Elijah Craig bourbon barrels. And they left out any adjuncts for a pure expression of barrel bliss.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to a love letter to cask aging, with layers of oak, whiskey, and vanilla coursing from start to finish. Notes of Raisnettes and caramel should carry underneath, leading to a smooth finish that leaves behind barely any trace of the 12.7% ABV.
