A Note on This Beer
News Flash IPA fans: before the West Coast swiped the NE Style and made it their own, Lord Hobo Brewing was busy as a clepto, injecting the resinous herb notes of the West into their juicy Massachusetts hopbombs. They were stealing before stealing was even cool. And the craft beer industry took notice - a name that came off as cocky -- Lord -- is now a name that defines what they brew.
Case in point: the resinous flavor anarchy of their ultra dank Steal This Can IPA.
Brazen flaxy gold in the glass, Steal This Can lets off nutty dank notes of fresh hemp seed. Candied grapefruit peels crash in, promising an incoming hoppy fix. Bittersweet ruby reds detonate on the palate and roll with waves of juniper to the far corners of your mouth. A satisfying creamy body from red wheat supports the sticky menthol bite of resin at the end. Be prepared because this beer just might steal the taste buds right off your tongue!
All thieving jokes aside, Steal This Can “probably” won’t make you do anything questionable … watch out though, because when these dank-o-licious hops hit your veins, you might develop a chronic pattern of drinking way too many cans at a time.
