About This Beer
To craft it, the brewers started with three separate beers — a Barleywine aged 19 months in Heaven Hill Select Stock bourbon barrels, a Munichwine rested in Savage & Cooke rye barrels for 15 months, and another Barleywine that slept for 26 months in Russell’s Reserve 16-year bourbon barrels. Then they blended them together into one all-star sipper!
Tasting Notes
Anticipate decadent nebulas of raisin-studded bread pudding, whiskey-soaked creme brûlée, and warming barrel spice to swirl through every thick, chewy quaff. Pops of dark dried fruit, golden caramel, and vanilla oak should sparkle throughout, further obscuring the 14.6% ABV.
