Sponge Bath Square Pints: BAAHHHAAHHHAHAHA — Patrick, today’s BlackStack Sponge Bath Double IPA is rated an eye-popping 4.35 on UT! It’s so juicy, I just want to soak in it!

Sponge Bath: Yeah, it’s the brewery Eater ranks as one of the Top Essential Breweries in the Twin Cities!

Patrick: Ooh, after downing this 8.5% ABV juicebomb, everything looks like it has a twin. And, it’s so pillowy soft and full of juicy clementine, passionfruit, and sweet floral hop notes, I can’t even taste the booze.

Sponge Bath: Yep, Patrick, that’s from all the Strata, Cashmere Cryo, Mosaic, & Citra Cryo Hops the brewery added! It’s so smooth and soothing — just like my voice — BAAHHHAAHHHAHAHA.

Patrick: I wonder if anyone else outside the Twin Cities will get to taste this deliciousness besides us, Sponge Bath?

Hazy and fruity is right. I really wish I would’ve ordered a lot more. It was one of the better NE styles I’ve ever had. Top notch.

Has great tropical flavor(mango, star fruit) and soft herb hint under the fruit. Great attenuation of the yeast leading to a dry texture. Nothing overly sweet. Mouthfeel is indeed soft with a juicy texture. Really well crafted. I’m impressed

Never disappointed with a Blackstack beer- not my favorite of theirs but they are still playing chess when most other breweries are playing checkers. They are up there with Drekker and Equilibrium for IPA Kings
