About This Beer
The brewers aged this stunning blend in 8 to 12-year-old American oak bourbon barrels for up to 24 months, allowing it to take on sublime cask character. And they infused it with wintery flavors using additions of allspice and nutmeg!
Tasting Notes
Look forward to a rich sip overflowing with holiday cheer. Notes of baking spices, brown sugar, and date should conjure panettone-like nuances on the palate, while silky ribbons of caramel ought to course underneath before giving way to whiskey oak on the finish.

Dark brown pour with a light brown head and nice carbonation. The smell to me is predominantly allspice, and the taste is cherry, caramel and oak. A very well done strong ale!
Note: I opened this at 50 degrees, and wasn’t impressed, but it got significantly better as it warmed.
