About This Beer
Before trying today’s tangy Midwest Fruit Tart, I’d never even heard of Obsidian blackberries. Turns out it’s a rare, flavor-packed variety that was first introduced in 2005!
In berry years, that’s basically brand-spankin’ new!
The brewers captured the essence of this bold berry, creating gushing rivers of fruit flavor that splash through their sour base beer. Bold berry aromas lead to a puckering pop on the sip that fades into a sweeter, pie-like note. A touch of bitterness balances the finish.
